Who we are (data controller)

• Controller: Roxana Popescu trading as “ConflictPause” (“we”, “us”, the “Site”).
• Legal status: individual / sole trader.

Processors we use

• Resend (email delivery & mailing list) — processes your email address so we can send messages.
• Cloudflare (hosting/CDN + web analytics) — serves the site, provides cookieless analytics, and keeps essential security logs.
• Astro (self-hosted forms) — form posts stay on our infrastructure; we do not use a third-party form vendor.

We have (or will have) Data Processing Agreements with these providers. Some may process data outside the UK/EEA (for example, in the US). When transfers occur we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses plus the UK Addendum, or equivalent safeguards. Contact us if you need details about specific transfers.

What we collect

We collect only the information you choose to share when requesting early access: your email address and optional context about the conversations you’d like support with. We do not track browsing activity and we never sell personal data.

How we use your information

• Send onboarding emails and early-access updates.
• Understand your needs so we can shape product features responsibly.
• Respond to requests, questions, or support needs.

How we protect your data

We store data with trusted infrastructure providers and restrict access to team members who need it to support you. We delete or anonymise information when it’s no longer required.

How long we keep your data

• Email & consent records: until you unsubscribe, or we remove inactive contacts after 24 months.
• Optional messages/context: up to 12 months after we act on your request or feedback.
• Server/CDN logs: typically 30–90 days for diagnostics and security, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK-GDPR / EU-GDPR you can:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion (“erasure”) of your data.
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Request portability of data you provided.
• Withdraw consent at any time (previous lawful use remains valid).

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link in any message.
• Email conflictpause@gmail.com to update or delete your information.
• If you’re under 16, please ask a guardian to contact us before sharing information.

Marketing & unsubscribe

We email you only with explicit consent. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also write to conflictpause@gmail.com and we’ll remove you manually.

Children

ConflictPause is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. In the UK, children under 13 require parental consent. If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we’ll delete it promptly.

Legal bases

• Consent: for early-access and product update emails. Withdraw anytime via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
• Legitimate interests: for minimal security/diagnostic logs. We assess these interests to ensure they don’t override your rights.
